Kooth Work has been invited to speak about workforce mental health within the blue light community at this year’s Emergency Services Show at the NEC Birmingham.
The show runs from from 19 - 20 September. Our speaker session will be held on Wednesday 20th September 10.40am - 11.10 am at the Health and Wellbeing Theatre.

Brian Rock, Clinical Director at Kooth Work will lead an engaging session with two prominent Wellbeing leaders from the blue light community. Brian is joined by Sarah Greswolde of West Midland Ambulance Service and Vinny Wagjiani from Kent Police and the Health Practice Associates Council.
In this session we will share key mental health data trends relating to the emergency services shift work and its impact on workforce mental health.
Hear the professional clinical view on the risks, the impact and viable solutions to build into your support ecosystem. In this session we will include reference to examples of what has been put into place and share how support can be provided.

He is a qualified clinical psychologist with a lifetime’s experience in clinical mental health support, interventions and educational provision. His experience includes 26 years in the NHS, and more recently at the world-renowned Tavistock Centre for 13 years. |
Vinny Wagjiani, Detective Inspector frontline policing at Kent Police and National Police Lead for Health Practice Associates Council As the Detective Inspector at Kent Police, Vinny is a pioneering leader in frontline policing spearheading innovative initiatives to support the mental health and wellbeing of police officers. He holds a Level 5 coaching qualification, providing insightful guidance to help individuals strengthen their resilience, robustness, and adaptability through his company Kardia Coaching and Mentoring Ltd. Vinny's innovative approach combines traditional and digital mental health resources to promote prevention, early intervention, rapid response, and recovery. As the Police National Lead for the Health Practice Associates Council, he is instrumental in shaping national health practices. His holistic approach to wellness sets a new standard in the policing community.

Sarah Greswolde, Mental Wellbeing Co-Lead for West Midlands Ambulance Service Sarah is a collaborative clinical leader of the mental health provision for the WMAS workforce. She is BABCP an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and NMC registered Mental Health Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the NHS. As Mental Wellbeing Practitioner Co-Lead at WMAS, she is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a robust workforce mental wellbeing programme that integrates traditional and digital mental health options. Sarah's programme balances prevention and early intervention with fast response and recuperation. |
